Things I never thought I'd do.

As I said at the start of this year I have the feeling that this year is going to be a really good one, and so far it has been. Maybe because I'm taking things differently or because I'm more eager to experiment not caring about what other people thinks.

One of the things that I started doing is walking in the rain, without an umbrella. I did it last week when it was raining and I was walking to the station, and it gave me a total feeling of freedom. People stared at me on the train afterwards because I was drenched, but it felt so liberating.

Something else I've started doing is running. I had taken up running in August, but not as seriously as it is now. I started again in January, running 5 km every week, then I started going for a run on weekdays so I'd run around 8 km per week, and finally I started running 10 km in a single run, until last week when I racked up 26 km in a single week (3, 12.6 and 10). I am really proud of my progress and I'm really looking forward to my next goal, which are 15 km in a single run.

Although it seems that both things have nothing in common they do, they are new for me and they give me freedom and peace of mind.
